Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
A Pakistani Air Force (PAF) pilot has reportedly been captured alive by Indian forces in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan, reports said. The capture took place amid heightened cross-border tensions following India’s missile strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Sources within the Indian intelligence community confirmed the detention, stating that the pilot had ejected from an aircraft that was attempting to violate Indian airspace. While no official statement has yet been released by the Indian Armed Forces, security agencies have confirmed that the individual is currently in custody and undergoing questioning.
The reported capture comes hours after multiple Pakistani missiles were intercepted over Jammu, and as defence sources accused the Pakistani military of resorting to “Hamas-style tactics” by launching cheap rockets across the Line of Control.
